3. September 22, 2010, Dr. Toby Malichi, Hon. D. Bus. was appointed an "Honorary Attendee" by the Global Services Coalition Industries to attend the Global Services Summit 2010: Breaking the Deadlock on Services Trade and Investment which was held in Washington, DC.
Trade ministers and trade policy leaders from U.S. and around the world to examine ways to expand services trade and investment, in order to create jobs, growth, and sustained economic recovery.
Who: United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk will make the opening keynote address at the Global Services Summit in Washington, DC on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.
The conference will also include remarks by other leaders in international trade, including: Hon. Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industry, India Hon. Craig Emerson, Minister of Trade, Australia Hon. Bruno Ferrari, Secretary of the Economy, Mexico Hon. Tim Groser, Minister of Trade, New Zealand Hon. In addition, the Summit will include remarks by other senior trade officials and business leaders.
4. January 21, 2010, Dr. Malichi served as a panelist for Jobs on Main Street, Customers Around the World Conference hosted by Ambassador Ron Kirk, Excecutive Office of the President, The United States Trade Representative (USTR) in coordination with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Small Business Administration, the Export-Import Bank, and other U.S. trade-promotion institutions.
5. In June 2009, Dr. Toby Malichi keynoted the plenary session on "Embracing Change" for the 35th Annual professional training seminar of the Federal Women's Program (FWP) - Federal Executive Association held in Indianapolis, Indiana. The conference was attended by over 400 women and a few men from many federal agencies, which included many dignitaries and the executive leadership from U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar and U.S. Sentator Evan Bayh offices.
6. In November 2008 and 2009, Dr. Malichi was as a panelist and speaker at the Global Diversity Supply Chain Conference sponsored by Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. The conference attracted over 200 CEOs and business owners from around the Midwest.
7. Dr. Malichi was invited to be a featured marketplace speaker at the 5th Eastern Gate Prayer Convocation 2007 Singapore. His seminar topic was “Transformation of the Marketplace.” The Prayer Convocation was attended by thousands of pastors, ministers, spiritual, government and business leaders from over 58 countries and all 7 continents
8. While attending Transform World Indonesia 2005, Dr. Malichi was personally selected and invited by Pastor Bambang - Founder of 70 churches in Medan, Indonesia, to be the week’s revival - featured speaker. Dr. Malichi, ministered to thousands - on the marketplace and governance. Medan is the second largest business district in Indonesia.
9. In 2005, Secretary of State, Colin Powell of the U.S. State Department invited Dr. Malichi to deliver motivational talks to high school and college students and professors in Grenada and Barbados. Dr. Malichi was invited back to speak to government officials and employees in Grenada by the Prime Minister.

In 2001, Dr. Toby Malichi was a keynote speaker at the Institute of Economic Affairs African Conference on Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development - Accra, Ghana for small and medium-sized enterprises sponsored by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
11. September 27-29, 2000, Dr. Toby Malichi spoke at the Africa and America: A Gateway for Women in Business Conference - held: Hyatt at University Village in Chicago, Illinois, which was sponsored by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) based in Washington, D.C.; Dr. Malichi is a board member and serves on the executive committee. The conference was attended by african women business leaders from the entire continent of Africa as well as American women business leaders.
12. In 1993, the late U.S. Secretary of Commerce of the United States Department of Commerce, Ronald H. Brown once called Dr. Toby Malichi, “The World’s Greatest Marketer” during the first U.S. - led trade mission to Mexico City after the successful passage of NAFTA. Dr. Malichi, founder of his own firm was an official selected volunteer spokesperson on behalf of the White House Administration, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Business Roundtable as an advocate and leader representing the issues small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
